Job description:

Inspect prototype samples in terms of measurements, patterns, stitching, and garment construction.

Work closely with designers to ensure prototype samples meet design intent and quality standards.

Conduct product testing and evaluation to minimize defects before samples are approved as production references.

Ensure size consistency and compliance with established sizing standards.

Follow up with subcontractors/suppliers to ensure timely sample submission.

Regularly monitor and track the development status of samples for each released style/article.

Report sample development progress directly to the Sample Development PIC.

Job requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Fashion Design, Garment Technology, or a related field

Experience in sample development, garment fitting, or quality control is preferred

Strong knowledge of garment construction, sizing standards, and sewing techniques

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Able to interpret design sketches, technical drawings, and specifications

Good communication and coordination skills, especially with designers and suppliers

Able to manage multiple samples and meet tight deadlines

Familiar with apparel production processes and timelines
